Maggie

Maggie is a 6 1/2 year old tennis ball addict! Maggie loves her tennis balls and will hide them all over, as well as beg to play fetch. She does not like to share her tennis ball or share in a game of fetch, but she does get along well with other pugs and animals. Maggie is a diabetic and is on a specialized diet as well as requiring 2 insulin injections per day.

update on Maggie, July 27, 2010: Maggie is still in love with her tennis ball. She will be turning 7 next month and her birthday "wish list" includes at least 100 tennis balls and some healthy treats! Maggie has struggled with her diabetes, her foster mom works hard with her diet and insulin routine to keep her blood sugar from going too high or too low. Maggie is a very sweet girl and is waiting patiently for her forever home!

Update on Maggie, August 20, 2010: Maggie gained a pound, but that's okay, she is thin and could use it! She is solid muscle without an ounce of fat. Her eyesight continues to go down hill. She love playing catch, but she has a hard time figuring out where the ball is at times (but she always finds it!).

update on Maggie, August 30, 2010: Maggie was moved to "hospice status" earlier this month. She has been in the rescue a long time and her foster mom continues to struggle with her diabetes and keeping it under control.
