What is iFoster?
Martha is a sweet 3 year old (approx. age), black pug. She was surrendered, with Elvis, to the rescue by a local animal shelter when the owners did not claim her. Upon taking her to the vet to be spayed it was found that Martha was pregnant! On July 12, Martha had 5 puppies. Martha is a very sweet girl that loves attention. Her foster mom is working with her on her "manners", she likes to jump on the kitchen table and she is being taught that this is not acceptable. As soon as her puppies find their forever home she will be ready to find a new home as well!

Martha came into the rescue in June, and upon going to the vet for spaying it was discovered she was pregnant. Martha gave birth to 5 puppies on July 12, 2010.
Martha's puppies are 5 weeks old now! She is starting to nurse them less and less (those little puppy teeth hurt!). She loves playing with little "Loopie" brand balls and will chase them all over the house. She is a slow eater compared to the other pugs in the house, so her foster mom puts her up on the counter to eat her food.
